There's a Book?!

One of the Sarahs told us about a book called "Beginning Glassblowing" which seems like something we should have read before, well, beginning glassblowing. Now it's on the to-do list.
Lucas tried blowing into an optic mold this time.
Then gathered over it.
Unlike with the pineapple mold, this just led to a little ring of bubbles around the rim. Of course, it ended up on the floor.
As did some other things.

We think the main reason for the things cracking is insufficient application of fire.

Of course, it's important to use sufficient protective gear when handling hot stuff.
