An Adventure Begins

This web site is here to document our glassmaking adventures. We took our first class on February 2nd, 2019, at Diablo Glass School from Sarah Michalik.

During that class, we made some paperweights.

We also made a swedish bowl, which involved blowing a bubble and mashing it in with newspaper while keeping it centered on the pipe.

All in all, we had a good time and made some cool things. Granted, "made" is a bit of a stretch. Sarah did a very good job of managing us and giving us stuff to do without letting us get overwhelmed. There was certainly a lot to do.
