tags: bits blown solid pint-glass starfish
We got a late start today, since the annealer was off when the class ahead of us got in so they were still finishing up when we got in. Lucas helped catch for Caleb.
Glasses were blown.

Stemware was lost.

Since it was the same day as the Pride parade, Lucas decided to make a rainbow.

The thing with rainbowy stuff on it ended up...not getting used.
He also tried out a new block-and-blow technique, instead of using the marver to cool things when blowing.
Jen made an adorable little starfish.

It didn't exactly come out as planned.
I think this one broke.

It looked nice while it was being worked, though.
Here's a shot inside the annealer. You might be able to see broken bits of a paperweight from earlier in the day.
